Plans for Building Renovation, roof replacement & construction of a new patrol boat storage facility is under way. Resource consent & funding applications are now underway.
A Youth Sailing Programme is being developed in cojunction with 3 local High Schools. Club boats will be made available to help provide Learn to Sail, Learn to Race tuition, leading to participation in the High School 420 Team Racing competition.
The Disabled Sailing Association will be be joining our Sunday race programme this year.
Approximately 20 Liberty’s and 2.4 mR miniature keel boats will compete in preparation for the World championships which are being held in Auckland next year.
